Christina Grossi is a spiritual lecturer, teacher, author and healer. She shares her life through texts, her autobiography Att komma hem, workshops, retreats around the world, videos and a podcast. Having come through great pain in her own life, she teaches the power of forgiveness as a way to become free and live a happy life. Her courageous, heartfelt words have led thousands to follow her.
Her path has been a long one. She has attended many lectures and studied with teachers of transformation and yoga, trained in spirituality and healing, and holds a master's degree in psychology. She also carried out a research study on Reiki healing, work she describes as helping Reiki to be classified as wellness care (friskvård). Along the way she found that the joy, love and quality of life this knowledge brought let her understand and help others, and she came to see this as her own unique talent. A 2017 retreat page describes her as a healer, yoga teacher, behavioural scientist and wellness coach, with a gift for waking people up so they can live a life of love and trust. Her Insight Timer page adds that she is also a writer and poet, with a particular interest in mindfulness and A Course in Miracles.
Christina has led retreats for around 14 years, and hundreds of people have travelled with her to sacred places. The destinations have included Egypt, Bali, Peru, Goa, Antiparos in Greece and Nerja in Spain. Earlier retreats combined yoga, meditation and dance, and in Tuscany and Sicily she taught alongside the artist and Vedic Art teacher Christine Persson. She says her way of leading differs from more traditional retreat leaders. She does not always fill the room with words or instructions. Much of her work happens in stillness, listening to the group's energy, and she sees herself as a healer and transformer who creates a field where people can meet themselves.
Beyond retreats, she offers healing, guidance, heart openings and soul coaching to help people become their authentic selves. Love, forgiveness and gratitude run through her teaching. She writes of wanting to raise awareness, inspire and change the world.
