Katy May Spencer

Katy May Spencer describes herself as a student of nature, horses, and stories. She works from a private ranch in Ojai, California, offering horse-guided constellation work in person and online, alongside her herd of horses and with the Topa mountains above her.

Her path began somewhere quite different. She worked in tech and social impact companies in New York City, earned an MBA from Oxford, and built and failed at building companies. She then spent a year living in the woods on 250 acres of old growth forest, learning to live from the land while putting her life back together piece by piece. Nothing she had created felt as big, right, or good as she had been told it would.

Today she lives a simpler life in a small valley town of fewer than 10,000 people. She provides family and business constellations, grows her own vegetables, swims in nearby creeks and the ocean, pours tea for friends, and writes. Her work weaves together horses, constellation work, nature, and myth, with themes that range from good listening to intuition and horse wisdom.

Her Insight Timer teacher page says she taught breathwork and meditation for over 6 years and loves sharing simple breath practices that can change our lives.
