Kay Reynolds is an evidential medium, author and mentor who has spent most of her life walking with the spirit world, sometimes willingly, sometimes with a bit of side-eye. Her first encounter came at age five, when a Native American man appeared beside her bed. She spent years trying to outrun these experiences but, as she likes to say, Spirit has stamina. Decades later, a life-changing illness redirected her path and deepened her connection to the unseen world.
A former educator with a master's degree and 29 years of teaching experience, Kay brings a teacher's heart to her mediumship work. She trained for over ten years at the Arthur Findlay College in England under the mentorship of Mavis Pittilla, learning to translate the unseen into clear, simple guidance for developing mediums. Her motto is to keep it simple, and she teaches with graphics, charts, stories and humor drawn from her own triumphs and failures in training.
Kay teaches mediumship through the lens of the soul, guided by her Intent, Trust, and Surrender method. Her offerings include courses, practice circles, one-to-one mentoring, on-demand classes and psychic investigation work with forensic astrology on cold and current cases. She also supports families of missing or murdered loved ones through her Looking for the Lost podcast.
Her book, The Evidential Medium, is known for its down-to-earth voice, practical exercises and "keep it simple" approach, which helps readers feel less alone and more capable on their spiritual path. Her work has been featured in OMTimes Magazine, and she is one of 31 voices in Jennifer Alsever's book Tapped In. She teaches and works with students and audiences around the world.
Away from her work, Kay enjoys hot chocolate with her two mischievous fur babies, hiking the mountains and wandering old European alleyways.
Worth Knowing
Kay Reynolds is an evidential medium, author, and mentor who has spent decades translating experiences from the spirit world into practical guidance for others seeking to develop their own mediumship abilities. Her path wasn't always intentional — her first encounter with a spirit being came at age five when a Native American man appeared beside her bed, an experience that set the trajectory for her entire life despite years of resistance. A former educator with a master's degree and 29 years of classroom teaching behind her, Kay brings a teacher's heart to her mediumship practice, which means she approaches the unseen world with clarity, humor, and an insistence on keeping things simple rather than mystifying them. People care about her work because she demystifies mediumship; she teaches students that connecting with spirit isn't about dramatic visions or flowery language but about clear intent, genuine trust, and the willingness to surrender to guidance. Her reputation rests on her combination of formal training — over ten years at the Arthur Findlay College in England under Mavis Pittilla — and her ability to translate that lineage work into accessible, down-to-earth practice that helps people feel less alone and more capable. Her Looking for the Lost podcast, which supports families of missing or murdered loved ones through psychic investigation and forensic astrology, reveals the depth of her commitment to using her gifts in service beyond ego.
