Roxie S

Roxie leads Roxie Sound Healing in Los Angeles. She curates meditative acoustic sound "concerts" in special places: an architecturally significant home in the Hollywood Hills, an art gallery, a hotel, an outdoor setting, or a private or corporate gathering. Her instruments include crystal bowls, a symphonic gong, an ocean drum, Koshi chimes and Tibetan bowls. Her immersive, heart-centered sound journeys work on a physical, emotional and mental level, and they close with poetry by Persian poets and mystics such as Rumi and Hafez.

She is especially known for work with art institutions. At Hauser & Wirth she led a sound bath inside the "Zhang Enli" exhibition, and she led a session at the Eames House for its first public event. At Barakat Gallery, guests were surrounded by ancient Buddhas and sculptures during the sound bath. At 1 Hotel in West Hollywood she served as the first resident sound practitioner and artist, and she performs beneath Janet Echelman's sculpture "Dream Catcher". The Culver Hotel hosted her for an artist's residency that combined her paintings with sound healing sessions.

Roxie also guides sessions for retreats, brands and companies, and at births and wedding celebrations, both in person and virtually. She has been named Best Sound Healing by Modern Luxury Angeleno, and the Los Angeles Times listed her among the best sound baths. The Hollywood Reporter wrote that she "has conducted hypnotic, soothing sessions that have earned her a loyal following."
