Meditation Teacher
Sarah Oben is a coach based in Maryland with a background in mindfulness and trauma-informed care. She supports individuals in discovering what gets in the way of living their heart's desire, working collaboratively with what each person most wants for themselves. She brings a combination of groundedness and warmth, and currently works with individuals virtually.
Her work uses the NeuroAffective Relational Model (NARM), a framework designed to work with the long-held effects of complex, developmental, attachment and relational trauma in adults. She first encountered NARM in 2022 as a client, completed NARM Practitioner training with the Complex Trauma Training Center in 2024, and completed the NARM Master Practitioner training in 2025. Having experienced the impacts of complex trauma herself, she holds a deep respect for each client's unique journey and continues her own inner work.
Before this, Sarah taught meditation and yoga and supported small business owners with bookkeeping. Her training includes a Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification with Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield (2023), Timeless Wisdom Training with the Academy of Inner Science and Thomas Hübl (2023), Functional Nutrition Counseling Certification with Andrea Nakayama (2022), and a 200-hour yoga teacher training with Yoga District in Washington DC (2017). She is also a therapist intern at The Women's Center in Northern Virginia, working toward licensure as a marriage and family therapist.
Outside of her work, she enjoys being outdoors, food, dance, art and travel.
