Beschreibung
Awakening to Enough is a weekend meditation retreat at Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado, exploring the dharma of money through Buddhist teachings, mindfulness practice and practical financial wisdom. It is open to anyone curious about their relationship to money, whether they are in debt, building a career, preparing for retirement or managing significant wealth. It is led by Grace Fisher and Spencer Sherman, the creator of the Dharma of Money.
The premise is that money can be one of the most revealing classrooms on the spiritual path. Together you look at the beliefs, emotions, habits and fears that shape how you earn, spend, save and give, with themes of enoughness, generosity, values-based living and financial well-being.
What to Expect
The retreat runs over a weekend, from a Friday afternoon arrival to a Sunday departure at 12:30 PM. Check-in is at the Guest Services Cabin between 2:00 and 5:00 PM, followed by an opening session and orientation.
Saturday is the heart of the retreat. It begins with morning meditation and dharma teachings, followed by small group discussions on money and enoughness. The afternoon is free for hiking or rest, and the day closes with an evening reflection and practice.
Sunday brings morning meditation and final teachings, then an integration discussion and a closing circle.
The days combine periods of silent meditation, teachings, reflection and conversation. The aim is to leave with contemplative tools for everyday financial decisions, a clearer personal definition of "enough," and a way of relating to money rooted in awareness rather than scarcity, fear or conditioned habit. "Enough" is treated as an inquiry rather than a number, and the group explores both the math and the mindset of it.
Conversation takes place in a confidential, respectful setting. You are invited, but never required, to share, and no one is asked to disclose financial details. This is not financial counseling or professional financial advice.
