Aloha Jacqueline is a regeneration guide, poet and songwriter based in South Africa. Her work centres on Soul Medicine: words, music and meditation offered as inner nourishment. She creates and facilitates presence-based, integrative experiences that help people reconnect with themselves and their inner lives, without pressure to fix, perform or optimise. In her words, she doesn't facilitate methods but experiences, and she accompanies people rather than fixing them. She meets them in the aftermath, not the emergency.
Aloha means presence, being present with the breath of life, and it is the name she lives and works under. Her path took in years as a shadow artist building other people's brands and stories, a body that asked for healing and led her into regenerative living, and hundreds of poems that gathered around two questions: belonging and identity. Poetry in her work is an integrative tool rather than a performance, helping experience land, clarify and become lived wisdom.
She offers one-on-one conversations, live writing workshops and circles through The Brave Collective, in Cape Town and online, and a growing body of poetry, music, mantra and meditation. Through Soul Poetry Café she shares poetry and reflections, and on Insight Timer she shares meditations, voice and frequency. She also co-creates custom songs from people's own stories and words. Her framework, the Living Landscape, looks at eight domains of relationship: within yourself, with others, and with what is beyond you.
Aloha holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and is a Gene Keys Guide, a Certified Meditation Teacher and a Support Practitioner in the Spiritual Healing Arts. Her studies include Nonviolent Communication, Family Constellations, Parts Work, Human Design, somatics and nervous system regulation. She is clear that she is not a licensed psychologist and does not diagnose or treat mental illness. Her work is therapeutic in nature, but it is not therapy.
