Awakened Heart Music

Awakened Heart Music is a collaborative passion project co-created by singers and facilitators Maggie Taurick and Diana Egizi. Rather than operating as a solo artist with a single vision, the project positions itself as a shared practice grounded in devotional sound and mantra traditions—both as creative expression and as a vehicle for presence and unconditional love. The project draws listeners who are seeking kirtan and prayer music that explicitly situates itself within a framework of emotional and spiritual empowerment, not just aesthetic pleasure or religious adherence. Their work appears across devotional music compilations and spiritual community spaces, suggesting they've built a following among people engaged in contemporary spiritual practice—cacao ceremonies, Reclaiming ritual communities, and yoga-adjacent spaces. What distinguishes them in a crowded devotional music landscape is their emphasis on weaving together multiple cultural traditions while maintaining a focus on presence and unconditional love as organizing principles, rather than doctrinal adherence to a single lineage.
