Dr. Nicola Amadora is a spiritual teacher, psychologist and Hakomi trauma therapist, as well as a women's leader, author and speaker. Her website says she has supported tens of thousands of people worldwide over a career of more than 30 years. She leads what she calls a revolutionary way of love, an embodied and down-to-earth approach to spirituality. In her retreats, trainings, writings and talks, she brings contemporary psychology together with ancient spiritual wisdom, and the wild mystical together with the practical.
Her teaching draws on mindfulness, non-duality and the main east-west embodied practices. She describes her retreats as trauma-sensitive, relational and nondual, and they can include silence, meditation, holistic inquiry, somatic and psychological integration, ceremony and time in nature. She is the founder of the Living Connection Work and the Feminine Wisdom School. Her Deep Feminine work, centered on feminine leadership and Mary Magdalene, is part of that path. She is the author of the books Nothing but Love and Love Unleashed.
Her site says she trained with great masters, travelled widely and lived in the Himalayas and the Amazon. It also says she experienced extreme hardship in childhood and, as a teenager, followed a deep yearning for truth. In her own telling, she lived at the Findhorn Foundation in Scotland at 25. She is known for the integrity and depth of her teaching. She welcomes people of all genders who want what is real, and she especially guides leaders, healers and facilitators.
Nicola works internationally, in person and online, and speaks fluent English and German. She offers retreats, group meetings, satsang, professional trainings and private sessions, and she speaks at events by invitation.
Worth Knowing
Nicola Amadora PhD. is a Meditation Teacher who also works as a psychologist, Hakomi trauma therapist, author, speaker and women's leader. By the account on the official site, the work has supported tens of thousands of people over more than 30 years, and that longevity is part of why serious students pay attention. The central idea is less common than it sounds: contemporary psychology joined to ancient spiritual wisdom, with the wild mystical held alongside the practical. She calls the approach a revolutionary way of love, and the phrase reads better as a statement of method than as a slogan, meaning embodied, down-to-earth spirituality that takes the nervous system seriously. Her work is also distinct for its focus on leaders, healers and facilitators, and for the Deep Feminine work centred on feminine leadership and Mary Magdalene. What sets it apart is a clinical training running underneath contemplative teaching, not a light therapeutic gloss on a spiritual brand. Her public footprint is modest but coherent, built on retreats, trainings, two books and a YouTube channel.
