Meditation Retreat
Description
The Nalandabodhi Practice Retreat is a residential meditation retreat in the Tibetan Buddhist tradition, held at Drala Mountain Center in Red Feather Lakes, Colorado. It is meant for practitioners who want to spend six nights in a contemplative community, with time set aside for sustained practice in a mountain setting.
What to Expect
The retreat runs for six nights and follows a structured practice schedule. Participants check in at the Guest Services Cabin on the first day, where the program schedule is provided on arrival. The days that follow are given to structured contemplative sessions alternating with community practice periods. On the final day the retreat closes and guests go through checkout.
The atmosphere is that of a community-based contemplative environment, where the shared rhythm of practice is part of the support for each person's own meditation.
