Sobre Este Evento

Descrição

Surrealist paintings hold their own kind of stillness, a invitation to look inward and see differently. Yoga at The Dalí brings that spirit into the body, with a Sunday-morning vinyasa yoga workshop inside The Dalí Museum in St. Petersburg, Florida, where creativity and breath share the same room.

Led by Lucky Cat Yoga on the third Sunday of each month, the class takes place in the Raymond James Community Room or the Avant-garden, both overlooking the waterfront. It is an all-levels practice, open to first-timers and seasoned practitioners. Dali, listed as the meditation teacher for this event, adds a contemplative thread to the morning.

If you are drawn to the idea of moving, breathing and resting among works of imagination, this class offers an unusual and quietly inspiring way to begin a Sunday.

What to Expect

The hour follows a gentle arc through the essentials of a vinyasa practice:

- Breath work: basic breathing practices to settle in and find your rhythm.
- Vinyasa postures: an all-level flow, with students encouraged to awaken and sustain their practice at their own pace.
- Meditation and relaxation: time to turn inward and let the practice land.

The atmosphere is creative and unhurried. There is no prior yoga experience required, and you are invited to honor your own capacity rather than keep up with anyone else. You may leave feeling more open, grounded and ready to see the museum with fresh eyes.

About Dali

Dali is an accredited meditation teacher with the British School of Meditation and has been teaching since 2022. Born and raised in the North East of England, he is well travelled and now calls London home. He was introduced to meditation in India, a country close to his heart, and soon realised he wanted to share what he had experienced, in the hope that meditation could help others as it has helped him.

His approach is generally secular, while borrowing from Buddhism and other belief systems and philosophies. He focuses on removing the barriers people meet in daily life, so that peace, calm and happiness have the best chance of being present.
