Banafsheh Sayyad

Banafsheh Sayyad is a visionary spiritual embodiment teacher, master sacred dancer, award-winning author, and choreographer, internationally acclaimed for her pioneering fusion of spirituality, sensuality, and conscious movement. She holds an MFA in Choreography and an MA in Chinese Medicine and has devoted her life’s work to helping people cultivate greater health, awareness, resilience, and joy through embodied wisdom.

She is the founder of Dance of Oneness®, a Divine Feminine lineage of healing and transformation that unites Sufi whirling, Persian dance, flamenco, mysticism, and Taoist wisdom. Her award-winning book, Dance of Oneness, invites readers to rediscover the body as a portal to presence, vitality, and joy.

Drawing from her own awakening through dance, which transformed the pain of exile from Iran into a path of healing and service, Banafsheh weaves Rumi’s poetry, feminine mysticism, and embodied wisdom into a radiant invitation to live as a channel of love and light. Through her nonprofit, NAMAH, and her transformative teachings with The Shift Network and at renowned centers including Esalen, Kripalu, Omega, and Hollyhock, Banafsheh has inspired thousands around the world to awaken their true nature, embody love, and dance the divine into being.
