Meditation Teacher · Lafayette
Vanessa Loder is an author, keynote speaker, YPO facilitator and meditation teacher who helps ambitious leaders create extraordinary success without sacrificing joy, purpose, presence or the people they love. She describes herself as an energetic spark plug and a lifelong seeker, and her work bridges ambition and inner wisdom, strategy and intuition, science and spirituality.
Her own path began in finance. She worked on Wall Street, earned an MBA from Stanford and built a career in private equity, on track to become a partner. From the outside it looked like success, but she felt she had climbed to the top of the ladder only to find it was the wrong ladder. She went looking for answers in conscious leadership, neuroscience, behavior change, mindfulness and meditation, and later in intuition, breathwork, hypnosis and past-life healing. The biggest shift, she says, was learning to stop looking outside herself for answers and to trust the wisdom within. She left her job in finance and began sharing what she was learning with other high achievers.
Today she offers keynote speaking, executive and YPO facilitation, and breathwork and retreats. Her workshops have been hosted for YPO and Google, and she has given a TEDx talk. She also teaches meditation, including free multi-day meditation challenges, and writes a blog on leadership, presence, purpose and inner work.
She is the author of The Soul Solution, a guide for burned-out, overwhelmed women who are ready to stop doing more and reconnect with themselves. She describes it as part science, part spirituality and part practical toolkit. Her blog draws on her own life as a mother and wife, with candid pieces on self-compassion, jealousy, and making room for play and creativity.
Worth Knowing
Vanessa Loder is a former Wall Street executive and private equity professional who turned her back on the traditional definition of success to become a meditation teacher, author, and keynote speaker. After earning an MBA from Stanford and climbing the partnership track, she realized the ladder was leaning against the wrong wall—externally successful, internally hollow. That crisis became a catalyzing education: she studied meditation, breathwork, neuroscience, intuition, and behavior change, eventually building a teaching practice that speaks directly to the people most meditation teachers struggle to reach. High-achievers, ambitious leaders, and burned-out professionals care about her work because she doesn't ask them to renounce ambition; she teaches them how to hold success and fulfillment in the same hand. Her credibility with this demographic is her greatest asset—she's lived in their world, speaks their language, and teaches from hard-won insight rather than distant philosophy.
