How seat locking works: When an attendee clicks a seat, it's instantly locked via WebSocket across all connected browsers and mobile devices. The hold timer (default: 10 minutes, configurable per event from 5–15 minutes) ensures no double-booking risk even during high-traffic on-sale moments.
Seat States: • Available — Open for selection • Held — Locked for checkout (timer active) • Sold — Purchase completed • Blocked — Organizer-reserved (not for sale) • Accessible — Marked with accessibility properties
